Clothing

· Clothing and shoe donations brought to H.O.P.E. are sorted by size and gender.

· Diapers and blankets are sorted and stocked.

· Clothing orders for clients are pulled and packaged for families and individuals.

· Tents and sleeping bags are checked for completeness and functionality then are stocked on the shelves.

· Toys and seasonal costumes, decorations must be sorted and stocked for use at the appropriate time.

Seasonal

· 300-500 Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes are packed for pick up by clients.  Volunteers are needed for packing, storage and giving away.

· Santa’s Helpers needed for Toys for Tots to sort toy donations and to help run the toy give away with Santa Claus (our Director-Ron Hewison)

· Hot meals are served on Thanksgiving day and volunteers are needed for preparation, serving and clean up.

There is so much to do and you are needed to help fill the gap!  Volunteer some of your time and help your neighbors in your community.  Nothing can compare with being an instrument of God and answering the prayers of others in need.

Drivers

· Drivers and ride-alongs needed for local pick ups of canned good donations from health clubs, schools, post offices, home owner associations. 

· Milk, eggs and various clothing donations from local retailers are required to be picked up weekly.

· Food deliveries to area seniors is a monthly task.  Volunteers needed for this job to supply food to 19+ shut in seniors. 

· Weekly deliveries to United Community Outreach and Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church for food banks that serve the community.

· Once the cans arrive at H.O.P.E. and are unloaded, sorting and stocking the pantry is required. 

· Counting or weighing the canned goods is required.

· Stock inventory needs to be done daily and a shopping list derived from the inventory. 

· Food shopping is a regular need including reading the papers for the weekly sales.

· People are needed to set up for pick ups of food for three local street food banks, Head Start, Lake Elsinore Senior Center and various church outreaches which are done daily and weekly.  

· Food referral ministry requires packing meals for up to 30 meals a day.

· Weekly produce deliveries must be unloaded, sorted and placed under refrigeration.

Bread

· Drivers needed for daily bread pick ups and deliveries.
