H.O.P.E has several regular programs that serve the people of our community. Volunteers carry out each of the tasks required to make this ministry run smoothly.
STANDARD REFERRAL MINISTRY:
Distributing 12 days, 3 meals per day, balanced, (also sugar free, fat free and salt free), packaged meals, diapers, soaps and assorted toiletry items to low-income families/individuals in need of food by referral from the Department of Public Social Services, local churches, police departments, doctors and area schools. 25,000 meals per month are served.
MINISTRY TO THE HOMELESS:
Providing a special food menu to homeless persons upon referral.
BREAD OUTREACH MINISTRY:
Contributing bread products on a weekly basis, we have freezer capacity to hold until needed, to the following organizations:
· Various local church related food and meal programs,
Head Start Pre-School sites within
· the LEUSD
· Lake Elsinore Senior Center
4000-5000 loaves of bread and bakery items are distributed each month.
Making available to low-income seniors 60 years of age and older a 12 day supply of food each month.

MENTALLY ILL PROGRAM:
Working closely with the Intervention Team of the Riverside County Department of Mental Health, coordination efforts to provide meal programs for the mentally ill living in our designated area.

On 2nd Saturday of each month we distribute USDA items to families
We begin at 07:30 and supply the boxes
Families should arrive before 07:00 hours
Cooperation with public school officials to aid with food in situations where school families are in need of immediate and special assistance.
EMERGENCY DISASTER RELIEF:
Helping families who suffer sudden and unexpected loss due to catastrophic plights.

HOLIDAY DINNERS PROGRAM:
Distributing 500 to 700 turkey boxes to low-income families during
Thanksgiving and Christmas. TOY

Distributing toys to area children for Christmas. 2007 saw 500+ children receive 2000 toys.
